Casting a Shadow's Ghost

carrson widen

Endlessly demanding eternity

But

Possessing over the present.

Suffering

Scrambling

Seething around vaporous monuments.

The light at the end of the tunnel Is a dying star.

Gazing with narrow vision At what they wish to see.

Choosing to cry When tears are absurd. Chasing the ghost

Of a shadow.

From naught, they come And to naught, they race.

The light at the end of the tunnel Is a dying star.

I could shake them awake But I choose to sleep.

The light at the end of the tunnel Is a dying star.
