My name is Jennifer Jhagroo. I'm 18 years old. I started drawing when I was 10 years old. I used to pause TV shows and draw the characters I saw on the screen. Over the years I tried and got better at drawing and painting. I started experimenting with other mediums like string, oil pastels, water colors and ink. I started writing in my junior year of high school, thanks to one of my AP English professors who really pushed me, Mr. Scalia. I haven't stopped writing since then and I don't plan to. Dr. Hanifan has also introduced different parts of creative writing and poetry to me that now enjoy writing a lot. I can't thank her enough. I'm typically a quiet and anxious person. But the shakiness in my hands will never stop me from drawing and writing.
