lasted until 4 A.M.

terror, fear

the feeling felt as I realized what was done was done

and prayed

that the world We live in isn’t what it seems

to think We were free

to think We earned it, We earned it, to think We fought for everything

how dare We?

for Our lives to equal nothing yet again, against the powerful white man.

they fear the woman, but I fear them

a woman like me, minority

not fair, but tanned

will now, NEVER be seen.

the one in control is to be feared, yes

but those who made the placement should be feared no less

the fear is Us, so they have Us scared

what have We done, but be born and live here? but be born and move here? but be born and

strive here?

But be here.
